I enjoyed great views of DC from my room and appreciated the easy walking access to several nearby attractions like the National World War II Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial, which made exploring the city a breeze during my weekend stay.

the stay at doubletree by hilton was pleasant. the location is very close to the south tower and convenient for walking to nearby attractions. the clean room was a highlight. i appreciated the friendly staff, especially the gentleman who helped resolve my check-in issue. overall, it was a comfortable stay, and other guests mentioned the quality of the facilities as well.

Business travelers take note

I had an very nice interaction with a security guard on Friday night. He walked me all the way to the corner just to make sure I knew my way around at night. The bar had some decent street tacos, not gourmet but they hit the spot after a long day.

Not exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable.
